Handcrafted in Canada — cold process, with wild, direct-trade Nilotica shea from Northern Uganda.

Made the slow way for skin that feels cared for.
Cold-process keeps the bar’s naturally formed glycerin, so you get a creamy lather and a gentle clean—not that tight, “stripped” feeling. We slow-cure each bar for at least 5 weeks, building a dense, long-lasting bar with a soft, cushiony lather. Lower temperatures protect delicate plant compounds (the good stuff that gives our bars their silky feel and subtle scent). And it’s planet-minded: no plastic bottles, no harsh detergents—just oils, lye, water, and botanicals coming together the traditional way.

Why ours feel extra special: Nilotica Shea.
We enrich every bar with Nilotica (East African) shea, naturally softer and melt-on-contact for a plush, silky glide. With higher oleic acid and naturally occurring antioxidants (like vitamin E) than common shea, Nilotica makes the lather feel extra conditioning. The result is a beautiful after-feel—supple, comfortable skin that’s perfect for dry seasons and frequent hand-washing. We source our shea directly from smallholder producers, so each batch starts fresher—and you can feel the difference.

Each bar contains only the essential oils in its name. Zesty sweet orange and smooth cedarwood—a comforting, skin-softening scrub. A cool burst of spearmint with herbaceous rosemary or the soothing floral, calming and classic simplicity of lavender. Lastly (but not least) the bright scent of lemongrass, clean tea tree, and grounding patchouli. They are crafted in small batches to elevate the everyday moments.

Nilotica Shea Butter — Pader, Northern Uganda

Collected from wild-growing Vitellaria nilotica trees
that thrive across the savannah plains of Northern Uganda. The shea nuts are hand-gathered and traditionally sun-dried by women’s cooperatives, then cold-pressed into a naturally soft, creamy butter rich in oleic acid, vitamins, and restorative plant lipids.

For many women in Pader, the shea trade has become a pathway to rebuild stability and economic independence after years of conflict — transforming a native tree into a source of dignity, income, and community resilience.

Our founder visited northern Uganda herself, partnering directly with the growers — ensuring fair pricing, dignified livelihoods, and a supply chain rooted in relationship, not extraction.

How to Use:

Lather the bar between hands or directly on wet skin, then rinse thoroughly. Allow the soap to dry between uses by placing it on a well-drained soap dish — this helps it last longer and stay firm. Suitable for hands and body.
