About us
Earth & Country is built on direct partnerships that honour transparency and impact from origin to jar — sourcing our Nilotica shea, moringa oil, and whole vanilla bean straight from the communities who grow them.
We believe the most luxurious skincare comes from nature itself, elevated by bio-nutrient-rich botanicals and the quiet brilliance of the natural world.
We are committed to cultural integrity, celebrating the stories, voices, and traditional knowledge of the people who steward these ingredients.
Each product is crafted to carry a touch of whimsical beauty — creating daily rituals that nourish the skin while bringing joy into ordinary moments.
We delight in sharing the beauty of the world, while tending with care to the place we are rooted.

Terra Lorenz - Founder, Earth & Country
My journey,
I’ve spent nineteen years working alongside communities in Uganda through my NGO work, and I’ve seen firsthand the difference that fair, transparent partnerships can make. To me, this isn’t just about selling skincare—it’s about helping people truly see where their products come from and ensuring that the people behind them are seen, respected, and empowered.
I feel deeply that the earth provides the most lavish, soul-nourishing creations, and I delight in unravelling nature’s amazing beauty and science. By creating earth & country, I’m seeking not just beauty, but meaning and peace of mind in the products I use in my home every day. They’re safe and deeply nourishing and reflect the values I want to live out each day. I am building something I can be proud to share with my family.
Why direct trade,
Direct trade allows for real accountability. I love going to the source and witnessing firsthand how these products are made—engaging directly with farmers and industry leaders. Over the years, I’ve seen many so-called “income-generating” projects fail because they don’t create long-term value or sustainable opportunities for the people they aim to help.
While direct trade is only one piece of the puzzle in addressing poverty, I believe that, when executed on both international and local scales, it can provide fair, equitable income. It transforms communities into key players in the global market rather than passive participants. That, to me, is true empowerment—ensuring that communities benefit fully from their own resources and expertise.
Our promise,
For our business to thrive and be sustainable, we must deliver world-class products that produce real results. Oh boy, we deliver! We have an incredible lineup of powerhouse botanicals that we’re so excited to launch—starting, of course, with Nilotica One.
Thank you for trusting me and joining us as we bring beauty to our skin, in our homes, and around the world.
